Chimiques du Sénégal (I.C.S.) is a product of South-South
cooperation, and more specifically of the convergence between
India's significant need for phosphoric acid to produce fertilizer,
and the availability of a high quality phosphate mine in Senegal.

| ICS
is Senegal's largest industrial complex, producing: |

located in DAROU, near the mine,
-
fertilizers (DAP, NPK, SSP/TPS) in a plant located
in MBAO (18 km outside of DAKAR).
The
ICS industrial complex also includes:
-
marketing of its products and production of pesticides,
through its SENCHIM subsidiary,
- rail
transportation, through its SEFICS subsidiary,
-
